Genoa Port registered a significative data of containers handling during the first five months of the year with an increase of 3,49%.

Also Taranto port made a very interesting progress, indeed starting from January up to now registered an increase equal to 31,10%

China is looking for an own “hub” in Italy, and this time it seems that something real is following the theory.

The choice could be Taranto that is fastly and silently growing up thanks also to Evergreen.

They say: “Taranto is placed in an ideal position, and the cir*****stance that it is Evergreen important hub represents the possibilty to unite all  chinese forces".
This choice could be imminent but it is conditional to Taranto Port Authority situation getting back to normal.

Taranto Port Authority has transmitted the containers handling data (expressed in teus) regarding last February and March. Taranto Port handled about 135.268 teus registering an increase of 34,43% in comparison with the same months of last year.
